yetipay Expands POS Integration Portfolio with Strategic Definitive Partnership

yetipay has expanded its Point of Sale (POS) integration capabilities through a new strategic partnership with Definitive EPoS, a specialist provider of POS systems for UK-based hospitality and retail businesses.

The integration is designed to help merchants streamline their payment setup, combining yetipay’s modern payment tools with Definitive’s sector-specific expertise. It includes built-in payment processing and simplified tip management, both directly within the POS system.

“We’re building an ecosystem that supports how businesses actually work,” said Oliver Pugh, founder of yetipay. “Our partnership with Definitive lets us offer an integrated solution that’s reliable, efficient and designed for the UK market.”

Meeting demand for more localised, connected tools

The rollout comes as more UK venues look for flexible, connected solutions that match the pace of digital change. According to the UK Retail and Hospitality Digital Transformation Report 2025, digital payment adoption rose by 15% over the last year. And in a recent survey by the British Hospitality Association, 78% of venues now say efficient payment and tip handling is “essential” to how they operate.

This partnership directly addresses that need, especially for businesses that value local knowledge and responsive support.

“When your tills go down, you need immediate support from someone who can solve the problem—without the frustration of being stuck on hold,” said Rob Finley, Business Development Manager at Definitive. “This partnership is grounded in shared values: quality, reliability, and a commitment to being there when businesses need us most.”

Already helping teams on the ground

The joint solution is already being used by the Valiant Pub Group, who recently rolled it out across their estate.

Definitive’s systems are widely used by convenience-led venues across the UK. Their integration with yetipay ensures that customers can manage payments and tips from one place, with real-time insights and fewer moving parts.

Tailored to UK businesses, not a one-size-fits-all approach

According to the 2025 Retail and Hospitality Technology Preferences Survey by UKHospitality, 83% of UK businesses say they prefer technology built specifically for the UK market, with locally based support.

For both companies, this partnership is about delivering on that expectation.

“There’s a real gap in the market right now,” added Finley. “Too many internet-based systems try to serve every market at once, but don’t go deep enough into the needs of UK operators. This partnership is a step toward changing that.”

Part of a growing integration strategy

yetipay is continuing to expand its network of POS integrations to better serve retail and hospitality businesses across the country. With several more partnerships in the pipeline, the company’s strategy is focused on giving merchants more flexibility in how they take payments and manage operations.

“These integrations are about reducing friction,” said Oliver. “We’re working closely with specialists like Definitive to build a connected experience that saves businesses time, supports their teams and helps them stay focused on what matters most.”
